Comparison Android 4.1 Jelly Bean vs iOS 6 vs Windows Phone 8

After the announcement of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Redmond Pie updated their tabulated comparison of the major players mobile OS versions that were announced last month. We did a comparison of those three recently as well, from a slightly different angle, focusing on the hardware support and UI capabilities.

It is a pretty neat way to see who supports (or doesn\’t) what, and by the looks of it, Android seems to be the most feature-laden and flexible from all the latest mobile OS iterations. Some areas where it needs apps to do the task compared to the others still exist, of course, yet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean the little green robot seems to have grown up to a teen Terminator.

Greg Sullivan, the Windows Phone 8 PM, said in an interview recently that we haven\’t yet seen all the consumer-oriented features of Microsoft\’s newest mobile OS iteration, since it was announced at a developers event, which focused on the stuff under the hood mostly, so the WP8 list of features might very well be expanded by the time it hits the shelves. Is there anything you\’d add or argue about in the comparison below?
